Watchful

It makes me so happy that Kinley and Tanner love their little Crew so much. The newness and miracle of his presence still hasn't worn off. Every few days when Tanner is gazing fondly at Crew, he sighs and whispers "I miss Dex." So do I, my love. So do I.

In the department of I miss Dex my guy was on my mind last Saturday and for once I stopped and created a layout. I used one of your templates from the days before Crew. It just seemed right to use it. You can find it here on my blog Taking Time to Remember

So sweet.

My Ellie, who will be 5 in July, frequently talks about our Max (who, it so happens, was born about 13 months BEFORE Ellie), and I spent an hour or so last week consoling her about him. I don't know how to say it, other than we have our own little saint in Heaven praying for us. I think death has such a profound effect on certain little ones, and when I can't even rationalize it to myself, is there any hope of helping them cope?

I somehow don't find it strange to miss someone you never got a chance to meet...
