Ventilator Schmentilator

Before Crew's surgery, we were told to expect anything from coming off the ventilator immediately to a repeat 5-day reliance on the vent like last time. You can imagine my delight and relief when I called at 3:30 this morning and learned that he had just been taken off the ventilator not five minutes before. He had some Tylenol for pain late yesterday afternoon, but has had nothing since and is showing no signs of discomfort. Yay!! YAY!!!
