New Year Baby

Here is Crew doing his Little Old Man impression.

Crew has put on weight for three days in a row and it's made us very happy. He is now up to 1241 grams or 2 pounds, 10.5 ounces. He's a beast, LOL, almost twice the size that he was at birth!

He had a follow up eye exam last night and ROP has not progressed further so far, which is good news. It is holding steady and he'll get another exam next week.

He'll see the pediatric cardiologist (again) next week to evaluate two of the valves in his heart to determine his severity of pulmonary stenosis and to confirm or deny suspected aortic stenosis.

His seizures have not returned since we took him off the phenobarbital, which is also fabulous. It was never 100% certain that he was having seizures in the first place, but there was suspicious activity in his first EEG and I definitely agreed that there were very suspicious movements at times when his phenobarbital levels were low. Whether he had them in the past or not, he doesn't appear to be having them right now.

What a cutie! I love the second picture--he looks like he is trying really hard to think (or maybe do) something. He is getting to be quite the little porker! Yeah for Crew!

I'm so thankful for all the good news. Continuing to send fattening prayers on Crew's behalf.

I just found you via the template blog - he is adorable! My prayers go up for you and your family. I am blogrolling you so I can keep tabs. :)

BTW - thank you for leaving your links up on the templates. I am new to the whole thing, but you have outstanding talent - I hope someday your life comes to normal again o you can continue to do what you love. It's all times and seasons... I had twins almost 3 yrs ago and although they were premature and a lot of work, I didn't have to go through what you are. But life does return to normal. Eventually. I wish you all the peace and joy that motherhood has to offer.

I discovered your blog from a scrapping store, and wanted to say I am sorry for the immense loss of Dex, and I pray that Crew continues to grow and get stronger each day!
